Bookshelves that re-sort themselves under a different system whenever it senses the owner has become too familiar with where to find specific books. The sorting systems are sometimes clear (alphabetical, by size, by colour, by topic) but sometimes by inscrutable systems such as by number of pictures, density of animal names in the text, ratio of letters with ascenders vs letters with descenders, etc.
